Richard attended Queens Royal College Trinidad and furthured his track career at Louisiana State University in the United States.
His personal best time is 9.93 seconds, achieved in May 2008 in Auburn,
He also has 20.23 seconds in the 200 metres and 6.51 seconds in the 60 metres, achieved in March 2008 in Fayetteville.
Richard now signed to Nike has progressed to being ranked among the Caribbean’s top sprinters and is now one of Trinidad and Tobago’s best hopes for an Olympic medal and will compete in the 100m 200m and 4x100m relay at the games this year.
